What is Pylon Digital?
Pylon Digital is a Melbourne AI, app and web development company for professional firms. We build the systems a firm depends on (AI tools, agents, automations, custom apps, practice reporting and websites), secure them from the first day, and then run them every month so they keep working long after launch.
Our tagline is the short version: Secure by design. Set up correctly. Fully managed. Secure by design means access, data handling and approvals are decided before anything is built, not bolted on later. Set up correctly means the unglamorous settings are done properly: single sign-on, admin controls, training settings and written definitions. Fully managed means we stay after launch and look after what we built.
Who do we work with?
We work with managing partners, practice managers and COOs at law, accounting and advisory firms of 10 to 100 people across Australia. These firms hold confidential client information, run on a practice-management system, and need AI and reporting that a partner can explain to a client or an insurer.
In practice that means:
- Law firms on Actionstep, LEAP or Clio, where the numbers that matter are matters, WIP and trust accounting.
- Accounting firms on Xero Practice Manager, Xero or MYOB, where jobs, lock-up, recoverability and BAS season drive the year.
- Advisory firms tracking engagements, utilisation and pipeline across partners.
We also work with established businesses referred by Key IT, the IT business we work in partnership with.
What does Pylon Digital do?
We offer ten services in three groups: Enable, Build and Run. Enable gets AI into the firm safely. Build creates the systems that give partners and staff their time back. Run keeps everything accurate, secure and supported after launch. The usual path is AI Setup or one scoped build first, then a monthly Run service.

Why is Practice Reporting our signature product?
Practice Reporting is our signature product because it answers the question partners ask every week, “how is the firm tracking?”, and it shows Enable, Build and Run in one piece of work. We connect to the systems you already use, agree what each number means, and deliver the same trusted report every week.
The report covers utilisation, WIP, lock-up and cashflow by partner, team and client. It draws on Xero Practice Manager, Xero, MYOB, Actionstep, LEAP or Clio, and arrives by email or in Power BI. Every figure has a written definition your partners sign off, and we reconcile it against your own numbers before the first live report. After that, the monthly service keeps it accurate as systems, teams and targets change.

Where does client data go?
Client data in what we build is stored in fully GDPR-compliant data centres, and only people the firm approves can reach it. We answer the data question before a partner has to ask it, because client confidentiality is the first thing a professional firm has to protect.
Each system’s handover documentation records what personal information it holds, where it is kept and who can see it. For AI agents, the guardrails are part of the product: human approval before anything leaves the firm, a full audit log of every action, and data stored in fully GDPR-compliant data centres. Where a public tool such as ChatGPT or Copilot is the right fit, we set up the business plan’s controls rather than leaving staff on personal accounts.

Who is behind Pylon Digital?
Pylon Digital is led by its founders, Elias and Peter, and comes from an IT background. That background shapes how we work: we treat a website or an AI agent as a production system that needs access control, monitoring and a plan for when something fails.
We work in partnership with Key IT, an IT business.
How do we start working together?
Every engagement starts with a free 45-minute discovery call. We look at the systems you run, how staff use AI today and the decisions partners need to make. If there is a sensible first step, we say what it is, what it involves and what it costs. If there isn’t one yet, we say that too.
