Areas we serve · Melbourne CBD
Pylon Digital builds websites, apps and AI systems for businesses in the Melbourne CBD, Southbank and Docklands. We are a Melbourne company, so we can meet in the city by arrangement, and most project work runs remotely between meetings. Many city businesses are professional firms, so secure AI, client portals and fast, accessible websites are common starting points.

Local business mix
The CBD is where Victoria's legal, accounting and financial firms cluster, around the courts precinct, Collins Street and the Docklands towers. Around them sit head offices, hospitality that trades on weekday foot traffic, and the university precinct just north in Carlton.
Practices of every size sit within walking distance of William Street and the County and Supreme Courts, and handle matter content that must never reach a public chatbot.
Partners run on Xero Practice Manager, FYI or similar tools, and want reporting and client onboarding that do not rely on re-keying.
Teams in Docklands and Southbank often need an internal tool, an intranet search or an integration that their enterprise vendor will not build.
Cafes, bars and shops depend on office workers and visitors finding opening hours, menus and bookings on a phone in seconds.

Common requests
Firms want staff to use AI without pasting confidential material into free tools, so we set up business plans with the right controls, or a private assistant over their own documents.
Sharing documents, signatures and progress updates through a secure portal replaces long email chains and makes each engagement easier to follow.
People profiles, practice-area pages and answer-first writing help both a prospective client and an AI assistant understand exactly what the firm does.
A weekly view of unbilled time and debtors, drawn from the practice-management system, replaces the month-end spreadsheet.
How we work
Being in Melbourne means a meeting in the city is easy to arrange. Most of the work itself runs remotely, which keeps partners' diaries clear.
A free 45-minute call to understand your systems and priorities before any proposal.
For AI policy sessions or website workshops with several partners, we can come to you in the city.
You see progress on a staging site or test system as it develops, and approve each stage in writing.
Where to start
Enable
ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Gemini set up with the controls, policy and training a CBD firm's risk partner will ask about.
Build
A professional-firm site with practice-area and people pages, written answer-first so it is found in Google and cited by AI assistants.
Build
Client portals and internal tools for firms that have outgrown email and shared drives.
Enable
A private assistant over your precedents and procedures, for work too sensitive for a shared AI tool.
These are the main centres, not a boundary. We are based in Melbourne and work here remotely, with meetings on site by arrangement.
Questions
Yes, by arrangement. Pylon Digital is based in Melbourne and runs discovery calls and most project meetings by video. When a workshop, AI policy session or website handover works better in person, we can come to your office in the CBD, Southbank or Docklands. We do not publish a street address, so meetings happen at your premises.
Client data for the systems we build and run is stored in fully GDPR-compliant data centres. Before anything is connected, your proposal sets out how your data is handled, so your risk partner can check it. Our security and data page explains how we approach data storage, access and audit logs for professional firms.
Yes. A client portal lets clients upload documents, sign, see where their matter or job is up to and message the team without long email chains. We build them as secure web apps connected to the systems you already use, such as Microsoft 365, Xero Practice Manager or your practice-management software, with access limited to the people you approve.
It depends on the number of pages and how much writing you want us to do. We confirm a fixed scope and timeline in writing after the discovery call, and you approve the design, content and build at each stage. Our general FAQ covers timelines and how pricing works for each type of project.
Cost, timelines and how engagements work are covered in our general FAQ.
